First official release of this highly revered and in demand cult debut album. Originally released on Friday 13th February 2010 (40 years to the day after Black Sabbath's debut LP), Vol 1 was the first efforts of unknown songwriter, Kevin Starrs. Pressed in small numbers for a non existing fan base, the album took several months to shift all 30 CD-R copies and provided a small platform to fund it's follow up, BLOOD LUST (2011). Recorded on a tight budget of stashed dole money and with little knowledge or regard for conventional recording techniques, the chaotic results speake for themselves; Distorted vocals, out of tune harmonies, ragged musicianship and everything pushed to the red. In the years following, The album became something of a cult curiosity. Despite the shoddy work of bootleggers and impatient collectors, Starrs refused to re release the album until he could work on it's remix and oversee the mastering. So here it is, Vol 1 in all it's ragged glory... finally mastered and mixed for this release.

Six years after Galactic Melt introduced the cosmic story of Com Truise, Iteration now concludes his sprawling saga. True to its name, the album is built on Com Truise hallmarks: neon-streaked melodies, big drums, robotic grooves, bleary nostalgia. But Iteration is also the most elegant and streamlined that Haley's singular music has ever sounded. At the album's heart is an elaborate narrative, one full of longing, hope, anxiety, and triumph. Grimes started producing music when she had to learn the program Logic for her neuroscience class. Shortly thereafter she had a viral myspace page, which allowed her to start booking shows and focus full-time on music. She lived in a crack den in Montreal with no heat (where she got frostbite twice and her neighbor was bludgeoned to death in the hallway), playing raves until her 2012 breakout, Visions, which was recorded during a 2 week speed binge wherein she did not leave her bedroom. Upon the success of this album, Grimes attempted to enter society as a regular human, which has clearly not gone super well but has nonetheless been entertaining. She�s since become an award winning music video director as well as a music writer, producer, engineer, singer-songwriter. She�s toured globally to sold out crowds, headlined festivals, and is now moving into the space of corporate surrealism. She recently had experimental eye surgery only available to the upper class. She is putting out her final earth album February 21st 2020.

Underworld and Iggy Pop announce Teatime Dub Encounters due for release on July 27th via Caroline. The 4 track EP is the result of a few clandestine hotel room recording sessions that began a few weeks after Underworld and Iggy Pop each released their last albums on the same day (3/18/16). It is neither historical nor a tribute to past work; it is the work of artists in motion, engaged in a process that they both bring to all of their work � one that uses spontaneity as a spur for creativity.

Featuring LA-based soulstress Raquel Rodriguez, lead single "Like a Motherless Child" is a re-work of the well-known spiritual with origins in the slavery of the American South. The track describes the void left when one feels separated from a parent, higher power or similar guiding force. Over the years this powerful song has been reinterpreted by the likes of Odetta, Lena Horne, Mahalia Jackson and Van Morrison. Moby also curated a playlist of artists that influenced the recording of his fifteenth studio album which includes Baby Huey, Marianne Faithfull, Grace Jones, Soul Makossa, Mulatu Astatke, Liquid Liquid, Fresh Four, Sly And Robbie, Simple Minds, James Brown, Talking Heads and Gil Scott-Heron.

Music For The Long Emergency is the collaborative album from Minneapolis-based electronic quintet POLIÇA and European orchestral collective s t a r g a z e. The two bands met for the first time in Berlin in 2016, and while the collaboration started in the same room, the process continued as an 18-month long ''ping pong'' match as the bands exchanged ideas and music over email, mp3 files, video conferencing, and the occasional meet-up in Berlin, Minneapolis, and Eau Claire. Both bands were adamant that whatever they created ''not just be POLIÇA songs with s t a r g a z e pasted on top,'' as POLIÇA vocalist Channy Leaneagh puts it, and the end result is the most adventurous and forward-thinking music either group has made to date.

This installment continues to wander through the 80's world of Stranger Things, floating between the sweeter moments which temporarily blossom amidst the danger and decay as the season comes to an end. The music is instantly reminiscent of works by John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis, whilst also delving into the ambience of Aphex Twin and more modern composers such as Cliff Martinez.

New Order have announced a new live album, NOMC15, recorded at Brixton Academy in 2015 following the release of their most recent studio LP (and Mute debut) "Music Complete". It features a set consisting of tracks from the new album, as well as cuts from their back catalog and songs by Joy Division.
